Hi! This is my Biography website, a little information about my music and artwork.

Singing and playing 6, 12 string and classical guitars, flute, fiddle, mouthbow and scat vocal.
A variety of traditions and cultures including Appalachian, Celtic, Flamenco, Delta Blues, American Standards and Jazz, some uniquely mixed. If you did not come here by way of my tinasfreemusic.com website, check it out. It's on my links page.

I also do cartoons and artwork. This is an idealized picture. I drew it a few years ago in pencil as a B&W drawing. Colored pencil was added later.

I also created Tina's Coloring Book for Grownups (Grownups, not adults, it's OK for kids too) in production, hard copies available upon request, Some of it can be seen at tinasfreemusic.

Some more background about my artistic and musical talent
I started drawing at the age of 3 and never stopped. Only recently have I endeavored to actually take on some formal training like my very recent enrollment in art school. I've actually been busy with music, and concentrating on that.
I grew up on jazz, took clarinet lessons at 14, my only formal lesson instrument. I got caught up in the folk music "thing" of the 60's and taught myself guitar, including finger picking styles. I've listened to everything, and been somewhat influenced by all of it. Today, I play classical and 6 and 12 string guitar, flute ,fiddle, pennywhistle, mouthbow (look up "Mouth music" on the internet, or a good ecyclopedia, or musical dictionary) and hand percussion. A more formal bio is available upon request.

The links page has an assortment of links to other web pages, my own and other interesting subjects and people. More drawings and info are here too. Check them out.
These pages are great to view, but get chopped up when you try to print them. The sitebuilder doesn't permit moving elements when building. My Homestead site is more printable.

This is one of my promo pictures
The flute is my best improvisational instrument. I play Celtic, Blues, Jazz, Meditational, all kinds of accompaniment including old standards from a nearly inexhaustable osmosis memory that sometimes surprizes me. I've done a lot of sitting in and jamming among folk, jazz, blues, rock and avant-garde experimental musicians.
